The story of the NIJ Literary Club started with the bright idea of a great mind who is a student of the Nigerian Institute Of Journalism, Ogba Lagos to build a guild for distinct and dignified students who are threading the path to greatness by amassing professional proficiency and building high employability profile before leaving the school campus.
He did not stop at admiring the idea but he set out to execute it by making necessary paper works and entering necessary offices with his proposals and requests.
His efforts plus contributions of like-minds eventually birthed the NIJ Literary Club with the profile:

To build a guild of distinct and distinguished student scholars with great professional proficiency and a high employability profile.
